About Us
Shoreline is a nonprofit organization that provides substance use prevention and education, along with family and individual treatment services to those who suffer from the disease of addiction.
Shoreline Behavioral Health Services provides comprehensive, evidence-based treatment and prevention services for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders in Horry County. Their adult programming includes an Intensive Outpatient Program that meets three times weekly, Level I outpatient counseling with individual, group, and family sessions, and structured aftercare groups to support long-term recovery. Shoreline integrates Medication-Assisted Treatment when appropriate and uses proven therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, anger management, and return-to-use prevention strategies. The MAT program combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and continuous monitoring to help stabilize cravings, support withdrawal management, and improve long-term recovery outcomes. They also offer diagnostic assessments, case management, crisis support, peer recovery services, and health education focused on substance use, HIV/Hepatitis, tobacco cessation, and safe medication practices.
