About Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital & The Beacon

Located in Conway, South Carolina, Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital provides behavioral health services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Our goal is to help individuals access the right level of care while supporting families and coordinating with community providers.

?? Lighthouse Behavioral Health Hospital is a 105-bed acute inpatient hospital providing short-term psychiatric stabilization.
Programs include child and adolescent care for ages 10+, adult and older adult services, gender-specific inpatient units, and treatment for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring concerns.

Lighthouse offers 24/7 walk-in assessments for individuals who are medically stable—an emergency room visit is not required before an assessment. We also provide a 24/7 Admissions Department and onsite pharmacy.

?? The Beacon, located directly across from Lighthouse, provides Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy but may not require hospitalization. Our programs are offered in-person or virtually.

Programs include:
• Adult Mental Health IOP
• Adult Substance Use IOP
• Adolescent Mental Health IOP for ages 10–17
• Day and evening programming

At Lighthouse and The Beacon, we believe stabilization is a step, not the finish line. Through acute care, intensive outpatient services, discharge planning, and community partnerships, we help individuals identify and connect with their next step toward continued healing and recovery.
